Hello Monkie Kid!
A brand-new LEGO theme was launched in China yesterday and worldwide today: LEGO Monkie Kid. I wrote all the product texts you’ll see on LEGO.com for this theme and I love it. It’s just great.
The playsets (https://www.brickfanatics.com/eight-new-lego-monkie-kid-sets-revealed/) and accompanying animated series are inspired by the Chinese legend of the Monkey King from the classic sixteenth-century novel Journey to the West and the LEGO designers have brilliantly reinvented this tale to engage and excite children today. There are lots of colourful builds, packed with fun features and functions, and array of cool good- and bad-guy characters to inspire childrens’ imaginations… and adults’ too… which reminds me: must dash – I need to order Pigsy’s Food Truck…
